Year 9 Pathways

We were delighted to see so many Year 9 Parents and Carers at the Pathways Evening earlier this week, and would like to thank the representatives from the Sixth Form, the Institute and the Connexions Service for their support on the evening. Thanks also to our KS4 students who were busy all evening talking to parents about the various courses.

It was also pleasing to see so many students attend the Market Stalls of KS4 courses. Please encourage your child to speak to subject staff and their tutor about their chosen pathway for KS4 and to read the Pathways Booklet. (This is available on our website).

Switzerland 2011 Trip

Having taken a break for 2010, we aim to go to Crans Montana in Switzerland in 2011. The trip will again take place during the February half term, departing on 18th February 2011. These weeks are undeniably costly but do provide students with fantastic opportunities to develop new skills and gain experiences that will provide great memories for a lifetime.
